TifTuf Bermuda has a very fine leaf blade with dense growth, making it ideal for a wide variety of applications. Its density enables it to handle high wear situations like backyards and sports fields whilst its fine blade ensures a very soft leaf to walk on.
TifTuf has a fantastic shade tolerance for a fine leaf lawn and can thrive in full sun and areas of up to 50% shade.

What type of grass is TifTuf?
TifTuf Bermuda is a hybrid couch. A fine leaf lawn variety with dense growth habit. TifTuf has been hand selected out of almost 30,000 different Bermuda varieties and has been tested against other common couch varieties to show incredible drought and wear tolerance.
Is TifTuf Bermuda available in seed?
TifTuf Bermuda is a sterile variety and therefore isn't available in seed. The seed heads TifTuf produces are infertile. TifTuf is protected by genetic assurance and is only available in instant lawn.

Is TifTuf Bermuda shade tolerant?
TifTuf Bermuda has 50% shade tolerance. It is great for partly shaded areas where common couch varieties would struggle.
Is TifTuf Bermuda good for kids and pets?
TifTuf Bermuda is a fast growing lawn variety, which means it will repair quickly from damage. It is great for high traffic areas such as homes with active kids and pets. It has been used successfully on sports fields for football, tennis, golf and more.
What height should I mow my TifTuf Bermuda?
TifTuf Bermuda is a fine leaf lawn that prefers to be mown around 5-30mm long. You can use either a rotary or a cylinder mower on your TifTuf, but a cylinder mower will give a lush clean cut for highly manicured lawn.

Is TifTuf Bermuda drought tolerant?
TifTuf Bermuda is the most drought tolerant instant lawn variety in the world. It is the first and only grass to receive the Smart Approved WaterMark. It is now the benchmark for drought tolerance in new grass varieties requiring approximately 37% less water.
