Does RTF Tall Fescue grass spread?
RTF Tall Fescue has vertical growth habit with prostrate rhizome growth. RTF stays within its boundaries and will not spread into garden beds, onto nearby paths or other areas. Where it's laid is where it will stay!
Will RTF Tall Fescue stay green through winter?
RTF Tall Fescue is a beautiful lush green lawn and is the only lawn in our range that will truly stay green all year round. RTF Tall Fescue loves the cold weather and therefore is great for cooler climate areas like the Adelaide Hills or the Barossa.

Is RTF Tall Fescue good for kids and pets?
RTF Tall Fescue is a lovely soft lawn variety to sit and walk on, however as it doesn't repair like warm season lawns, it's not well-suited to high traffic areas. If you have an active family or a pet that will be on the lawn a lot, we recommend to choose a self-repairing variety like Sir Walter DNA Certified, TifTuf Bermuda or Eureka Kikuyu.
How often should I water RTF Tall Fescue?
RTF Tall Fescue does require around 20% more water than other instant lawn varieties. During summer especially, you will need to ensure your RTF doesn't dry out. Generally, two deep waters a week will keep an established RTF lawn happy!
What height should I mow my RTF Tall Fescue?
RTF Tall Fescue is a beautiful lawn that is happy longer than most. We recommend mowing between 40-60mm.
